Part time contemporary worship music director

First UMC Phoenix is seeking interest for a part time music director for our 9:00 a.m. Sunday worship service. The 10 hour work week will include oversight and recruitment of persons for a band with a salaried jazz pianist, volunteer guitar, bass and drum positions and oversight and recruitment of a group of paid and volunteer vocalists. Thinking outside the box for music styles, arrangements, and congregational singing in this contemporary service is a must. The salary will be 10K-15K, commensurate with abilities and experience.
